From the Atlantic shores to sweeping mountain views, this is a 650km off-road adventure through Portugal with a special focus on the peaceful, picturesque coastline that truly shines in the cooler months. From Santarém to Vila de Rei, Fátima, Nazaré, Peniche, and back. A compact but unforgettable mix of dirt, culture, and coastline — with a support van taking care of all the logistics.

We believe the best friendships are forged at the table, so this tour starts with a welcome dinner the night before. Arrive in Santarém, check in to your hotel, and join us for a feast of typical Portuguese delicacies as we brief you on the days ahead and get to know each other.

Full training day — traction, body positioning, emergency stops, hill climbing and descending. Adapted to the level of every participant. Diogo and Louise both on the training ground. This day sets everyone up for the riding days ahead. Back to Santarém in the evening.
First riding day through Alentejo's picturesque rally roads — cork trees, eucalyptus, grazing cattle. The day ends at Vila de Rei, the geodesic centre of Portugal — literally the heart of the country. A quiet, picturesque town surrounded by wooded hills and crystal-clear streams. Starts easy and gets progressively harder as we cross the Tejo river and enter the mountains heading north.
A ride through winding forest trails that gradually climb toward high ridgelines — rocky paths and gravel tracks running alongside rows of wind turbines above the valleys. Midway, we skirt a vast dam and its shimmering reservoir, a calm contrast to the rugged terrain.
The day ends descending into the iconic town of Fátima. Even the dustiest riders tend to feel something there. But first things first — we park the bikes and head to one of Diogo's absolute favourite local restaurants. A heavenly end to a day well ridden.
We leave Fátima and head west, stopping at the awe-inspiring Batalha Monastery — a jewel of Portuguese Gothic architecture. Then lunch in the legendary town of Nazaré, home to the world's biggest surfable waves. Thirty-metre walls of Atlantic water — the kind that make jet skis and life insurance mandatory.
Pure coastal riding bliss follows, ocean on one side, wind in your face. We finish in Peniche — a charming fishing town on a peninsula. A cold beer by the sea tastes considerably better after a full day on the trails.
Morning loop around the Peniche peninsula — salty breeze, last ocean views. Then inland toward Santarém, swapping crashing waves for sweeping hills and quiet countryside. Varied terrain all the way to the end.
Back in Santarém for the final night and farewell dinner with the full group. This night — and breakfast the following morning — is included in the price. The last dinner is earned.
